About Benwells - Our people

We currently employ 18 full time staff and operate in a modern factory unit in Central London. We find this is ideally placed to serve the design and print industries both here and overseas.

The vast majority of our staff are home grown - most having joined us as apprentices and taught to our exacting high standards. Our apprenticeship scheme is key to our growth. A new trainee joins every eighteen months or so and this ensures we can offer staff valuable progression.

Key People

Paul Haslam
Director

Paul has worked at Benwells for over 13 years. Having worked through the company in production, estimating and sales, there is little that he doesn’t know about what we do and how we do it. To escape the stress of running a successful specialist printing company, Paul can be found at his allotment, tending to his crops and usually accompanied by his 2 children and 3 dogs.

Colin Howard
Production Manager

Colin has worked in the print industry for most of his adult life. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge, but also a calm head. When he’s not slaving away in the production office, Colin finds solace at Charlton Athletic.

Joanne Barnett
Account Manager

Joanne has worked in the print industry for over 15 years. Starting as a hand finisher and now a highly talented account manager, her depth of skills and knowledge is unsurpassed. Our clients greatly benefit from her wisdom and experience. Away from the office Jo likes to walk her dog and spend her hard earned cash in the West End, although not at the same time.
